In February of last year, a blizzard impacted the Door County reads Katie Dahl Concert sponsored by a number of local businesses. So the Friends of Door County Libraries have invited Katie Dahl back to perform at the Gould. As an added bonus, the Friends are flying her producer/collaborator Julie Wolf in from California to join her on the stage at Northern Sky for a very special performance.

Katie is a Door County Institution, a songwriter and playwright known for her smart songs and open vulnerability. Julie is known for her work with artists including Carly Simon, Indigo Girls, Ani Difranco and Bruce Cockburn. Katie’s album Seven Stones was nominated for Grammy Awards for  Best Folk Album of the Year; Best American Roots Song (Since I Was Eight); Producer of the Year (Julie Wolf) and Best recording Package.

The Friends are hoping for a blizzard of spring sunshine and smiles on May 2 when Katie and Julie take the stage at Northern Sky. 

Tickets are $15 and doors open at 3:00 PM with the concert beginning at 4:00 PM.
