The Land Where We Share Our Stories

For all our friends in the blind and differently-abled communities, here’s the text that is included in this image:

Every community is indebted to those who have poured their hopes, dreams, and energy into creating a better life. Whether rooted deeply in the land for many generations, coming from other homelands, or forcibly translocated, all enrich our intertwined world. In alignment with Northern Sky Theater’s mission to promote cultural appreciation, we commit to cultivating an informed artistic environment that honors and respects those who shaped our path and continue to influence our community.

Northern Sky Theater acknowledges that the land we now call Northeastern Wisconsin has been nurtured and revered for centuries by native peoples, including the Oma͞eqnomenew-ahkew (Menominee), Bodéwadmiakiwen (Potawatomi), Ojibwa, Ho Chunk, Sauk, Fox, Huron, Odawa, and Oneida nations. We honor their legacy with respect and gratitude.

Oneida Nation

Northern Sky is grateful to have had a relationship with the Oneida Nation since our company’s early years. The Oneida Nation has been a consistent sponsor through the decades and a valued friend. This year the Oneida Nation will celebrate their 50th Annual Pow Wow, June 28 – 30, 2024. All are welcome. Join in the excitement! https://exploreoneida.com/
