An Event to Support The Rekindle Campaign & Northern Sky Artists
Our Virtual Holiday Celebration Saturday, December 12
Say goodbye to 2020 with a day-long holiday celebration on Saturday, December 12. We’ll gather “together” to enjoy songs, stories, and plenty of festive spirit. All day long, we’ll fill our Facebook page with the antics of your favorite Northern Sky company members. Doug Clemons and Lachrisa Grandberry will return with a holiday edition of Northern Sky Fashion Spy. Jeff Herbst and Katie Dahl will be on hand all day to bring you their special brand of Jeff & Katie Show pizzazz. We’ll cap the day off with A December to Remember, an uplifting concert of seasonal archival clips and delightful holiday humor, all brimming with celebration and warmth. Starting December 1, you can visit our virtual Rekindle Market, featuring one-of-a-kind offerings from your favorite Northern Sky company members, including personalized performances and gifts you won’t find anywhere else. All Rekindle Market item proceeds are split 50/50 with the company members who created them. As we did for Raise the Curtain in the spring, we’ll be teaming up with Door County Delivered to create a special Northern Sky box that will help you celebrate the day in style, bringing the essence of wintry Door County to you. See gift box options below. This is the first event of our brand-new Rekindle Campaign, designed to sustain Northern Sky in the months ahead. All contributions for Rekindle Market items, Door County Delivered boxes, or A December to Remember registrations will count toward our $1.75 million Rekindle Campaign goal. Questions? For a $50 household donation to this event, you will be able to participate in all of the above PLUS you’ll also be able to join us at 7:00 pm for A December to Remember, an online video of archival clips brimming with celebration and warmth. We’ll be able to celebrate “together” with wonderful footage of past Home for the Holidays performances and more. In many cases, this will be the DEBUT of these clips from our archives. You won’t want to miss it!
For a $125 donation to this event, you will be able to take advantage of all of the above PLUS we’ll send you a custom Northern Sky Door County Delivered Box. Your box will include an assortment of Door County treats, a Christmas in Door County CD featuring Doc Heide and Eric Lewis, and a double-sided, hand-painted Northern Sky Ornament by Wendy Rismeyer. You might think of it as a little glimpse of the sights, sounds and smells(!) of Door County and Northern Sky – another fun way for us to feel united during this one-of-a-kind gathering.
