Business Manager
Katie is thrilled to begin her third year with Northern Sky, an organization she’s long admired since growing up in Sturgeon Bay. She earned a BA in chemistry from St. Olaf College, her teaching certificate at Lawrence University, and a MSE in physics education at UW-River Falls. Katie has pivoted her love of numbers and balancing chemical equations to the back-office activities at Northern Sky. She’s been attending performances since 1993 and started bringing her kids along as preschoolers. They love that Mom works at such an amazing place. Before this, she taught science classes for over a decade at Sevastopol. You can still catch Katie teaching, but now it’s spin and yoga for the Door County YMCA. She’d like to wish the company, volunteers, and patrons a wonderful season!
