An Event to Kick Off Our 2026 Season
Saturday, June 6
Join in the celebration on June 6 with Raise the Curtain: Light the Sky at the Gould Theater. The evening includes delectable heavy hors d’oeuvres, music around the bonfire with Water Street Hotshots, and culminates in the evening’s performance by Northern Sky Company in the Gould Theater.
The Day
This year’s Raise the Curtain Light the Sky will be chock-full of the kinds of things we’ve all come to love from our past events: an online Marketplace, a Northern Sky mystery box, and mingling with friends. Attendees will be able to enjoy drinks and hearty hors d’oeuvres by Alexander’s and listen to music around the fire with the Water Street Hotshots.
The Performance
Reunite with Northern Sky favorites as they tease the season and showcase delightful selections from their repertoire. You just never know what surprises await with this one-of-a-kind concert.
The Marketplace
Starting June 1, you can visit our Northern Sky Marketplace, featuring show-themed baskets for auction. Items will be on display at the event in the Gould Theater lobby. All bidding will happen digitally through our Give Smart site.
The Mystery Box
Our legendary Mystery Boxes have returned to the spotlight!
These crowd-favorite treasures continue to fly off the shelves each year we have them! Each box is packed with hand-picked goodies valued at a minimum of $45 – but some hold over $75 in value, and one lucky box is bursting with more than $200 in surprises!
Mystery Boxes are available to our in-person attendees OR can be picked up anytime this summer or fall.

- Browse the Marketplace in the lobby and online
6:20 PM – Marketplace Closes
6:30 PM – Performance by Northern Sky Company in the Gould
