Annual fundraiser to feature handcrafted, wooden-gear clock
We are excited to kick off our 25th Anniversary Season with our Raise the Curtain event held Sunday, May 24th.
Even more exciting, this year's silent auction portion of the evening will feature a one-of-a-kind, wooden-gear grandfather clock handcrafted by long-time Board Member and fine wood artist, Ken Boyd. As such, we’ve decided to make Ken’s latest creation available for bids prior to the event. READ MORE
Bids accepted through Saturday, May 23rd to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Northern Sky Theater, the new name of American Folklore Theatre, unveils two world premieres for 2015
Announcing the 2015 musical comedy line up for our 25th Anniversary Season in Door County, Wisconsin.
Northern Sky Theater will present three shows in repertory during the summer (June 11 - August 29) and one in the fall (September 4th - October 17th).
"It's fitting that we celebrate our new era as Northern Sky by doing what we do best," noted AFT's managing director Dave Maier. "Offering up two brand new hilarious musicals is our way of doubling down on the mission to create shows that our fans know were written for them and their families."
“One of the most exceptional professional troupes in the country, and, for many, as much a Door County tradition as homemade cherry preserves.” - Chicago Tribune
In our little corner of the woods, those ominous rumblings about the Death of American Musical Theatre are drowned out by the footfalls of 40,000 loyal fans strolling down the path in Fish Creek's Peninsula State Park each summer to laugh and cry with our merry players under the newborn stars. Thousands more join us each season for our intimate Fall Season shows presented at the Door Community Auditorium.
